I had a little TOO MUCH fun creating songs for reading strategies over the past few weeks! Some of you MAY remember my “I Can Make an Inference” dance jam from a few weeks ago! 😉 Well, I decided to put a whole packet together with lyrics and songs… and I just uploaded it to my little store if you’re interested. 🙂 This zip-file contains a 20 page pdf with lyrics for 8 songs and 8 MP3s that correspond! I can not sing at all…I would never sing in front of a group of my peers. However…that is all thrown out the window when I'm in the classroom. The kids don't care and respond so well to music. Great packet.

I am so excited abut this! I love the meta cognition toolkit. I love your tools for teaching students to think about thinking!
I am really excited about this! Can you do the same thing for other comprehension strategies like finding the plot, cause and effect, fact and opinion, and other strategies! I would love to use this in my class.
