Hey, friends! It’s been a while. π I survived Meet the Teacher and the first two (almost) full weeks of school!!! Now it’s time for a serious rewind to catch you up to speed somewhat! I know this is not a new idea, but I created a little welcome bag for my kiddos… and of course… it had to be zebra print!
If you’d like a copy of my welcome bag tag, you can download it HERE! I love the way they looked!
I revamped letters, checklists and tent cards this year, and I am really happy with the end result! Buckle your seat belts! We’re going on a little virtual field trip!
Checklists are CRUCIAL for Open Houses & Meet the Teacher! π Especially since I can’t clone myself! |
Last year, a few kiddos got their folders mixed up with other siblings’ stuff, so this year, I labeled everything!!!! |
I used to fold construction paper for signs, but this year, I put my “fancy pants’ on. π |
Let’s see… π While I was on my organizing kick, I made folders using large construction paper and labels from Hope King’s Welcome Back Essentials pack. I always have a tough time managing the paper mountain when all of the beginning of the year papers start coming in. This helped me immensely! I just glued them onto the construction paper and covered the paper with mailing tape. It’s one of my favorite classroom tools… I love it for covering labels of any kind! π

Great post! I love all of your ideas. I really like your display case and your welcome bags. You took the meanings a bit further. We aren't allowed to give out candy so I have to really change it up a bit, another thing I still need to do.
The Reading Street packets are great! I will be stalking your store for anything RS related!

I love your welcome tag! Is there anyway you can email it so I can change 3rd grade to Kindergarten? I love the black and white because my room is puppies and it'll go so well.
Thank you in advance!

I would love to have a copy of your welcome tag too that is editable so I can change the grade level. Anyway to get your open house sign in sheet too? Oh and the tent cards are great but it would be nice to be able to edit those too so I can type on the blank ones to customize them for my needs. Thank you so much. Joy
