While making the cute little googly-eye pointers in my last post, I was inspired to create “Math Munchers”. Just like their gator counterparts, they like to devour large numbers. In this case, furry-monster-pom-pom counters or “arrays”.

Hi! I just wanted to say that we made the alligator craft with my daughter and it was so cute. Your post motivated me to create a couple multiplication activities – one similar to yours but with a twist. I would LOVE it if you stopped by to say hello and see what we did this week! Thank you.

what a cute idea… I think I'm going to add magnets to the back of the alligators so we can use them on our wipe off boards…

Such a cute idea! We have everything we need right at home! I'll have to do this with my son in the next couple of days. Do you mind if I link to your site from my blog?

Very cute idea! I used your math manipulatives and linked to your post as the inspiration for the manipulatives in my monthly post at PreK + K Sharing: Montessori-Inspired Greater Than Less Than Alligator Math: http://prekandksharing.blogspot.com/2012/08/montessori-inspired-greater-than-less.html Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com
